Founded in 1859 in Löbau, Germany, August Förster is dedicated to top handcrafted quality, and accessibility to all genres of music in its huge factory near the Czech border. With solid traditions and manufacturing capabilities known to generations of Europeans, it is now setting new standards, taking calculated risks based on centuries of piano-making experience, and addressing concerns of both professional and amateur players.
